Your Website Is Losing Customers Every Second It Takes to Load.
Speed isn’t a technical detail. It’s a business metric. Every extra second your website takes to load costs you visitors, conversions, and rankings. People don’t wait. They leave. And once they’re gone they rarely come back. The worst part is most businesses have no idea how much slow performance is actually costing them until someone sits down and does the numbers.
Moreover, we fix performance problems properly. Not surface-level tweaks that look good on a report but make no real difference. Deep, structural optimisation that makes your website genuinely faster, more stable, and more capable of handling whatever you throw at it. The result is a site that loads fast, ranks better, converts more, and gives every visitor an experience worth staying for.
Our Work Process
A Performance Optimization Process That Delivers Real, Measurable Improvements.
Here’s how we do performance optimization that delivers impactful results.
Performance Audit & Baseline Measurement
Before we change anything we establish a clear baseline. We run comprehensive performance tests across your most important pages using multiple testing tools and real user data. We document current scores for every relevant metric; load time, Core Web Vitals, page size, request count, and more. That baseline is what we measure every subsequent improvement against so the results are always verifiable.
Issue Identification & Prioritisation
The audit reveals a list of performance issues. Not all of them carry equal weight. We prioritise by impact, the fixes that will move the needle most on real user experience come first. We build a clear action plan that tells you exactly what we're fixing, why it matters, and what improvement to expect. You understand the work before it starts, not after the invoice arrives.
Optimization & Implementation
We implement fixes systematically, retesting after each significant change to verify the improvement and catch any unexpected side effects. Images, code, caching, server configuration, database, each layer gets addressed in the right sequence. We work directly on your site or alongside your development team depending on your preference. Every change is documented so there's always a clear record of what was done and why.
Testing, Reporting & Ongoing Monitoring
Once the optimisation work is complete we run a full round of post-implementation testing and compare every metric against the baseline. You get a clear before-and-after report showing exactly what improved and by how much. We set up ongoing monitoring so performance stays where it should be. If anything degrades over time we catch it early and fix it before it becomes a problem.
Every Search Is an Opportunity. Make Sure Your Ads Are There to Capture It.
Stop losing clicks to competitors. Your budget deserves campaigns that actually convert.
Why us?
We Fix Performance Problems at the Root. Not Just on the Surface.
A lot of performance work is superficial. Run a speed test, compress a few images, add a caching plugin, call it done. Those things help at the margins but they rarely address the real causes of poor performance. We go deeper. We look at every layer; front-end code, server configuration, database efficiency, and third-party dependencies because that’s where the actual problems usually live.
Every Fix Is Verified Against Real Data.
We don't implement changes and hope for the best. Every optimization gets tested before and after with the same tools and conditions. If a change doesn't move the metrics we expected it to move we find out why and adjust. That rigour means the improvements we deliver are genuine and measurable, not just theoretical.
Performance That Holds Up Over Time.
Getting a site fast is one thing. Keeping it fast is another. We build monitoring into every engagement so performance degradation gets caught early. Moreover, new content, plugin updates, and traffic spikes all affect performance. We make sure none of them quietly undo the work we've done without anyone noticing.

Our site was scoring 31 on Google PageSpeed. We'd tried fixing it ourselves twice and got nowhere. They came in, ran a proper audit, and within three weeks we were scoring 89 on mobile and 94 on desktop. Our bounce rate dropped noticeably within the first month and our organic rankings started moving shortly after. Genuinely transformative work." Oliver Prescott, Head of Digital, Greystone Retail
We were failing all three Core Web Vitals and had been for over a year. Two developers had looked at it and neither one solved the problem properly. These guys identified the root causes within the audit, explained everything clearly, and fixed all three within two weeks. We've been passing consistently for six months now without a single regression." Priya Nair, CTO, Fieldstone Commerce
The load time on our main landing page went from 6.8 seconds to 1.4 seconds. That's not a small improvement; that's a completely different user experience. Our paid ad conversion rate improved by 34% in the month after the optimisation was completed. The performance work paid for itself several times over in the first ninety days." Tom Alderton, E-commerce Director, Lumio Living
FAQs
Questions We Get All the Time
Performance Optimization Questions, Answered Clearly.
Performance optimization is the process of making your website load faster and run more smoothly. It matters because speed directly affects user experience, search rankings, and conversion rates. Google uses Core Web Vitals as a ranking factor. Visitors abandon slow sites within seconds. Even a one-second improvement in load time can have a measurable impact on bounce rate and revenue. It's one of the highest-return technical investments a website can have.
We use a combination of tools like Google PageSpeed Insights, Lighthouse, WebPageTest, and real user monitoring data from Google Search Console and analytics platforms. We look at both lab data and field data because how a site performs in a controlled test doesn't always reflect how it performs for real visitors on real devices. The combination gives us a complete and accurate picture.
Almost certainly yes. Caching is one piece of the performance puzzle; and often not the biggest one. Render-blocking JavaScript, unoptimised images, slow database queries, and server configuration issues all affect performance independently of caching. A caching plugin set up incorrectly can also create its own problems. A proper audit will tell you exactly what's contributing to slow performance and how much each factor is affecting your scores.
It shouldn't and in our work it doesn't. Performance optimization changes how your site loads and runs, not how it looks. The visual design stays intact. In some cases we might recommend changes to how certain elements load or render but we always explain the reasoning and get sign-off before implementing anything that affects the front-end experience.
For most sites the core optimisation work takes two to four weeks depending on complexity. Sites with significant technical debt, large product catalogues, or complex integrations take longer. We scope each engagement individually and give you a realistic timeline upfront. Ongoing monitoring and maintenance is a lighter-touch activity that runs continuously after the initial work is complete.
